A.S.S. 36 FORD

STRAIGHT FROM AUSTIN SPEED SHOP
36-ford-1
The 1936 Ford is by far one of Henry Ford’s best-designed cars. It’s sleek deco lines make for a perfect custom yet with a change of stance its tough enough to be a Hot Rod. It’s really the best of both worlds! In my opinion its perfect either direction you go.

This 3 window (my favorite style of 36 by far) was just bought by Billy Powell, and as cool as it is we here at Austin Speed Shop are going to get to do some really neat modifications like lowering it, new upholstery and next year it will get a few inches off the top. Billy is a great guy and we really look forward to working on this 36 and of course will be keeping everyone updated on the progress…

HotDog Paint Job

WORK NEVER STOPS FOR PETE FINLAN.

Caught in action around the shop. Hotdog applies gold leaf a client’s bike. His technique, artistry and passion for his job shows in every piece that comes out of his office. Pete can breathe life into an otherwise basic paint job. Surrounded by motorcycle gas tanks, cars, and the Trophy Truck, the West Coast Chopper’s paint booth is always busy.

NO LOVE 2009

NO FRILLS! NO DETAILS! NO KIDDING! NO LOVE 14!

Just in case you´re in the states around the 14th:

You gotta show to know. All the details of what is going to go down at lucky #14 are scribbled on a greasey red shop rag, hermetically sealed in an old rusted Harley tank, and buried somewhere at the West Coast Choppers World Wide Headquarters in Long Beach. On the morning of the event, we’ll release the pit bulls to dig it up, and we’ll share all the top secret details with the participants. Everyone forking over the $50 charity donation for a local Long Beach charity will be presented with an official NO LOVE KIT. When you open your kit, angels will sing, the clouds will part, and your life will suddenly have meaning. Jesse will come out, say a few words, turn water into wine etc, etc, and then instruct you [and join you] on the mission at hand.

What we can tell you is that there will be a “spectacular” trophy for best bike, and best car that are able to make it through the day’s festivities without breaking down. So, check those fluids, gap your plugs, add some extra duct tape to hold that bumper in place…just be checked in and ready to roll at 9am SHARP.

If you’re not participating, you’re welcome to either mill about aimlessly in the parking lot, or go into the WCC store and spend some time and some do-re-mi on our brand spankin’ new West Coast Choppers apparel that will be makin’ it’s debut at the event! Just in time for Xmas! So, come one, come all. Join us in helping a very worthy charity, and have some fun while you’re at it. Stay tuned…who knows, we might leak out a few more details before the big day. Tick tock, tick tock….time’s a wastin’ get those entries in so we can reserve your kit.
